Refund Policy

Claude Routines Starter Kit — Last updated: April 2026

1. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer in the European Union, you have 14 calendar days to withdraw from your purchase, without giving any reason, under Directive 2011/83/EU (EU Consumer Rights Directive). Within this period you receive the full purchase price back.

2. Exception for Digital Content

Per Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal for digital content (such as the Claude Routines Starter Kit) lapses if:

1. You have given explicit consent to immediate delivery, and
2. You have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

How this works here: during Polar checkout you'll see a clear checkbox ("I agree to immediate delivery and waive my right of withdrawal"). Checking this box grants immediate access and waives your cooling-off period.

If you don't check the box, you keep the full 14-day cooling-off period but the Product is only delivered after that period ends (or once you explicitly request delivery).

3. Requesting a Refund

Two routes, both free and without paperwork:

Route 1 — Via Polar (recommended)

1. Log in to your Polar customer portal (link in your order confirmation).
2. Find the "Claude Routines Starter Kit" order.
3. Click "Request refund" and optionally provide a reason.
4. Polar typically processes the request within 24-48 hours.

Route 2 — By email

Send an email to [email protected] with:

• Your order ID (from the confirmation email)
• Email address used to place the order
• Optional: a short reason (helps us improve the product)

We acknowledge receipt within 1 business day and typically process the refund within 3 business days.

3.1 Model withdrawal form

4. Processing Time and Payout

• Approval: typically within 1-3 business days.
• Payout: Polar returns the amount to your original payment method via Stripe. Depending on your bank or card issuer, this takes 5-10 business days.
• Full amount: you receive the full purchase price, including any VAT.

5. Consequences of a Refund

Upon refund approval:

• Your download link access ends immediately.
• Your right to future updates ends.
• Any locally downloaded files must be deleted (honor obligation, not technically enforced).
• A future purchase is, of course, welcome.

6. Exceptions and Special Cases

6.1 Refund after 14 days

Beyond the statutory 14-day cooling-off period, we reserve the right to review refund requests on a goodwill basis. Serious product defects or cases where the Product demonstrably does not work as described will always be considered — also after 14 days, per the Digital Content Directive (EU 2019/770).

6.2 Lack of conformity (EU 2019/770)

Does the Product not work as described on the product page? You are then entitled, regardless of the 14-day cooling-off period, to:

1. Repair — we release a free update that resolves the defect, or
2. Price reduction or full refund — if repair proves impossible.

Report a lack of conformity by email to [email protected] with a clear description.

6.3 Fraud or abuse

We reserve the right to reject refund requests in cases of demonstrated abuse, such as systematically purchasing and refunding the Product to continue using it after refund.

7. Disclaimer: Dependency on Claude Code Routines

The Product is a set of configurations for Claude Code Routines, a feature of Anthropic PBC. If Anthropic changes or discontinues this feature:

• Within 30 days of purchase: you qualify for a full refund.
• Between 30 days and 6 months of purchase: we release updates where possible. If adaptation is not feasible, we review partial refunds on a goodwill basis.
• After 6 months: no refund, but we communicate openly about product status.

8. Disputes

Disagree with a decision on your refund request? Three routes:

1. Direct contact: email [email protected]. We resolve most disputes amicably.
2. Polar dispute: via your Polar customer portal.
3. EU Online Dispute Resolution: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ — a free European platform for out-of-court settlement.

Dutch law applies to this policy. As an EU consumer you can always invoke the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your own country.
